Einarson finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) 5-2, then went on to lose 8-3 against Homan. Einarson responded with a 6-4 win over Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NONT). Einarson went on to lose 8-6 against Erika Brown (Madison, WI). Einarson responded with a 6-5 win over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau PwC, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
Einarson earned 46.633 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Players' Championship. Einarson move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 35.815 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 16th overall with 330.127 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Einarson ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 266.827 points earned so far this season.
