Due finished 4-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Due defeated Duncan Fernie (Perth, SCO) 6-5, then won 6-5 against Finland's Markku Uusipaavalniemi and 6-2 against Switzerland's Alexander Attinger. Due won 6-5 against Daniel Neuner (Hamburg, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
