To advance to the championship game, Ramsay won 5-4 over Manitoba's Daniel Birchard in the semifinals of the 2011 NOTT Autocorp Thanksgiving Charity Open in Winnipeg, Manitoba; and won 5-2 over Murray Woodward (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 NOTT Autocorp Thanksgiving Charity Open in Winnipeg, Manitoba;
 
Ramsay finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ramsay defeated Manitoba's Randy Neufeld 4-3, then won 6-4 against Rob Cosens (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-0 against Joel Marcon (Winnipeg, MB). Ramsay won 2-1 against Manitoba's Brian Pallister. Ramsay went on to lose 6-0 against Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
