Jan Hauser (Zurich, SUI) qualified for the 2011 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO).

Hauser finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hauser lost 6-4 to Joel Retornaz (Cortina, ITA), then responded with a 6-5 win over Finland's Tomi Rantamaki. Hauser won 8-0 against Switzerland's Bernhard Werthemann, then won 3-2 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Hauser earned 8.325 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curling Masters Champery. For week 10 of the event schedule, Hauser did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hauser ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
