Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) run at the 2012 Cactus Pheasant Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-2 loss to Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2012 Cactus Pheasant Classic in Brooks, Alberta; Howard advanced through the quarterfinals with a 4-3 win over British Columbia's Brent Pierce.

Howard finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated Scott Egger (Brooks, AB) 6-3, then won 6-5 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN) and 6-5 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Howard earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Cactus Pheasant Classic, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 313.520 total points. Howard ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 45.000 points earned so far this season.
