To advance to the championship game, Corbin won 5-4 over Bob Armstrong (Ingersoll, ON) in the semifinals of the 2012 Ingersoll Clash in Ingersoll, Ontario; and won 7-6 over Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Ingersoll Clash in Ingersoll, Ontario;
Corbin finished 2-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Corbin defeated Ontario's Josh Johnston 6-5, then went on to lose 5-3 against Ontario's Connor Duhaime. Corbin responded with a 6-5 win over Ontario's Sean Aune in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Ingersoll Clash Championship title, Corbin earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $2,300CDN first prize cheque, moving up 73 spots the World Ranking Standings into 167th place overall with 3.882 total points. Corbin ranks 63rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
