Tirinzoni went on to lose 11-4 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Tirinzoni responded with a 7-3 win over Germany's Andrea Schoepp. Tirinzoni went on to lose 7-4 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN). Tirinzoni lost 8-7 to Latvia's Iveta Stasa-Sarsune where Tirinzoni responded with a 8-5 win over Denmark's Lene Nielsen in their final qualifying round match.
Tirinzoni earned 12.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 11th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.15 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tirinzoni ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 122.755 points earned so far this season.
