Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI) lost 6-3 to Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) in the Final of the PEI Scotties , held January 23 - 27, 2013 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. To advance to the championship game, Dolan won 7-3 over Kathy O'Rourke (Charlottetown, PEI) in the semifinals of the 2013 PEI Scotties in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island;

Dolan finished 2-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dolan lost 7-4 to O'Rourke, then responded with a 9-2 win over Tammy Dewar (Montague, PEI). Dolan went on to lose 6-2 against Birt. Dolan responded with a 7-2 win over Lisa Jackson (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the PEI Scotties , Dolan take home 2.500 world rankings points, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 101st place overall with 7.850 total points. Dolan ranks 109th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.750 points earned so far this season.
