Marla Mallett (Cloverdale, BC) qualified for the 2013 Kamloops Crown of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI).
 
Mallett finished 5-2 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mallett defeated Roberta Kuhn (Vernon, BC) 6-3, then went on to lose 6-2 against Tirinzoni. Mallett responded with a 5-4 win over Kalia Van Osch (Delta/Nanaimo, BC). Mallett went on to lose 8-7 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC). Mallett responded with a 6-5 win over Kirsten Fox (New Westminister, BC). Mallett won 7-3 against Kesa Van Osch (Victoria, BC), then won 4-2 against Kristie Moore (Sexsmith, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mallett earned 2.850 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Kamloops Crown of Curling, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 91st place overall with 7.090 total points. Mallett ranks 67th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.850 points earned so far this season.
