Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB) won 6-5 over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Championships, held November 29 - December 1, 2013 in Beausejour, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Marnoch won 9-5 over David Kraichy (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2013 MCT Championships in Beausejour, Manitoba; and won 5-2 over Richard Daneault (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 MCT Championships in Beausejour, Manitoba;
Marnoch finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marnoch lost 5-4 to Justin Stanus (Winnipeg , MB), then responded with a 7-4 win over Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB). Marnoch won 7-5 against Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB). Marnoch went on to lose 8-6 against Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB). Marnoch responded with a 7-3 win over Scott Ramsay (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the MCT Championships Championship title, Marnoch earned 3.250 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 40 spots the World Ranking Standings into 134th place overall with 7.800 total points. Marnoch ranks 88th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.800 points earned so far this season.
