In their opening game, Smart defeated Kaitlyn Sherrer (Red Deer, AB) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-3 against Krysta Hilker (Edmonton, AB). Smart responded with a 6-4 win over Karynn Flory (Edmonton, AB). Smart won 7-6 against Sarah Brown (Camrose, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Smart did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Smart ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
