Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN) won 5-3 over Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) in the Final of the Hub International Crown of Curling, held October 17 - 20, 2014 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ogasawara won 10-2 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Nagano, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2014 Hub International Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; and won 8-7 over Un-Chi Gim (Gyeonggi-Do, KOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Hub International Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Ogasawara finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ogasawara defeated Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC) 8-4, then won 7-2 against Sarah Wark (Victoria, BC) and 7-4 against Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC). Ogasawara won 8-0 against Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, YK). Ogasawara went on to lose 6-4 against Alberta's Crystal Webster in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Hub International Crown of Curling Championship title, Ogasawara earned 10.350 world rankings points along with the $9,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 19th place overall with 45.726 total points. Ogasawara ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 26.450 points earned so far this season.
