Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) qualified for the 2014 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-3 against Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, UK).

Mouat finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE) 5-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Marc Pfister (Bern, SUI). Mouat responded with a 8-2 win over Aku Kauste (Helsinki, FIN). Mouat won 5-1 against Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER), then won 8-2 against Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP) in their final qualifying round match.
