Hellsten went on to lose 10-5 against Puustinen. Hellsten responded with a 9-6 win over Malmi. Hellsten went on to lose 7-5 against Puustinen. Hellsten responded with a 7-5 win over Norri. Hellsten went on to lose 8-7 against Malmi. Hellsten responded with a 6-5 win over Puustinen. Hellsten won 10-4 against Norri in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Finnish Women's Championship, Hellsten take home 2.500 world rankings points, moving up 49 spots the World Ranking Standings into 139th place overall with 4.625 total points.
