Joanisse finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Joanisse defeated Darren Nelson (Kamloops, BC) 7-4, then won 11-7 against Grant Dezura (Maple Ridge, BC). Joanisse went on to lose 10-9 against Cotter. Joanisse responded with a 6-5 win over Brent Pierce (Kelowan, BC). Joanisse won 7-6 against Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC), then won 8-6 against Tom Buchy (Kimberley, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the CDI BC Mens Championship, Joanisse take home 5.000 world rankings points, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 80th place overall with 23.264 total points. Joanisse ranks 79th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.605 points earned so far this season.
