Jenkins won 8-3 against Kathy Brown (Guelph, ON), then won 8-3 against Shirley Berry (Cornwall, PEI) and 7-2 against Cathy Inglis (Yorkton, SK). Jenkins won 4-2 against Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS). Jenkins went on to lose 6-4 against Elaine Roy (Kenogami, QC). Jenkins responded with a 9-3 win over Peggy Taylor (Kenora, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
