Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC) lost 5-4 to Sean Geall (New Westminster , BC) in the Final of the Hub International Crown of Curling, held October 16 - 19, 2015 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Joanisse won 6-5 over Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in the semifinals of the 2015 Hub International Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; and won 8-7 over Korea's Soo-Hyuk Kim in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Hub International Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Joanisse finished 5-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Joanisse defeated Rob Koffski (Kelowna, BC) 7-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Lyle Sieg (Seattle, WA). Joanisse responded with a 4-3 win over Darren Nelson (Kamloops, BC). Joanisse won 9-0 against British Columbia's Andrew Nerpin. Joanisse went on to lose 7-0 against Geall. Joanisse responded with a 7-6 win over Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Joanisse won 6-5 against Grant Dezura (Maple Ridge, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Hub International Crown of Curling, Joanisse take home 19.066 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 79.640 total points. Joanisse ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 54.430 points earned so far this season.
