Link finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Link defeated Cheryl Reed (Brandon, MB) 8-4, then went on to lose 9-5 against Birchard. Link responded with a 8-2 win over Tiffany McLean (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Manitoba Scotties Berth Bonspiel, Link take home 12.994 world rankings points, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 43rd place overall with 79.855 total points.
