Ji-Sun Kim (gyeonggido, KOR) are currently 5-2 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Olga Ten (Almaty, KAZ) 20-0, then won 10-3 against Chelsea Farley (Naseby, NZ). Kim went on to lose 6-4 against Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). Kim responded with a 14-3 win over Ten. Kim won 13-5 against Farley, then won 9-1 against Fujisawa. Kim went on to lose 8-7 against Liu. In their next game, Kim plays.

With their runner-up finish at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, Kim take home 10.973 world rankings points, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 49th place overall with 69.474 total points.
