Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Mouat finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Scott MacLeod (Aberdeen, SCO) 8-3, then went on to lose 8-7 against David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO). Mouat responded with a 7-2 win over Robin Brydone (Perth, SCO). Mouat won 10-6 against Ewan MacDonald (Inverness, SCO). Mouat went on to lose 7-6 against Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO). Mouat responded with a 8-2 win over Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO). Mouat won 10-1 against Moray Combe (Perth, SCO), then won 7-6 against Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO). Mouat went on to lose 8-7 against Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Mouat earned 16.339 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Go Coco Scottish Curling Championships. For week 27 of the event schedule, Mouat did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mouat ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
