Sturmay lost 8-6 to Tanner Horgan (Copper Cliff, NONT) where Sturmay responded with a 11-3 win over Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Sturmay won 6-4 against Alex Robichaud (Moncton, NB), then won 7-6 against Jake Hersikorn (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
Sturmay earned 2.473 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Sturmay did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sturmay ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
