Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) won 5-3 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Zurich, SUI) in the Final of the Boost National, held December 6 - 11, 2016 in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 9-6 over Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2016 Boost National in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario; and won 8-7 over Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 Boost National in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario;

Einarson finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson lost 7-1 to Tirinzoni, then responded with a 6-4 win over Sidorova. Einarson won 5-3 against Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO), then won 9-6 against Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Boost National Championship title, Einarson earned 84.142 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 444.870 total points. Einarson ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 155.596 points earned so far this season.
