Drew Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) qualified for the 2017 Goldline Saskatchewan Players Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK). of the 2017 Goldline Saskatchewan Players Championship in Humboldt, Saskatchewan;

Heidt finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Heidt lost 7-5 to Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Terry Marteniuk (Yorkton, SK) where Heidt responded with a 9-1 win over Aaron Shutra (Saskatoon, SK). Heidt won 8-4 against Daniel Selke (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Heidt earned 7.894 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Goldline Saskatchewan Players Championship, moving up 19 spots the World Ranking Standings into 128th place overall with 41.312 total points. Heidt ranks 92nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.317 points earned so far this season.
