Shuster won 6-5 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED), then won 7-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
Shuster earned 31.122 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Ford World Men's Curling Championship.
