Emil Ring (Karlstad, SWE) finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ring defeated Johan Nygren (Goteberg, SWE) 8-0, then went on to lose 10-6 against Ludvig Kohn (Gavle, SWE). Ring responded with a 9-2 win over Johan Engqvist (Harnosand, SWE). Ring won 8-6 against Kevin Mattsson (Ostersund, SWE), then won 10-1 against Petter Moller (Helsingborg, SWE) and 7-2 against Robin Ahlberg (Uppsala, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swedish Junior Mens Championship, Ring take home 5.486 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Ring did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ring ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
