To advance to the championship game, Chappellaz won 8-7 over Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba; and won 8-7 over Cheryl Reed (Brandon , MB) in the quarterfinals. of the Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba;
 
Chappellaz finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chappellaz lost 5-3 to Meghan Armit (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 11-1 win over Kristen Beaumont (Winnipeg, MB). Chappellaz won 5-2 against Tiffany McLean (Brandon, MB). Chappellaz went on to lose 6-2 against Clark-Rouire. Chappellaz responded with a 8-2 win over Jackie Dewar (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel, Chappellaz take home 12.031 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN prize, moving up 109 spots the World Ranking Standings into 155th place overall with 12.182 total points.
