6-4 to Yves Hess (Zug, SUI), then responded with a 8-5 win over Kristian Lindstroem (Lit, SWE). Brewster went on to lose 6-4 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Brewster responded with a 7-3 win over Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
