Greg Drummond (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2018 Aberdeen International Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO). of the 2018 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland;

Drummond finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Drummond lost 6-5 to Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO), then responded with a 5-3 win over Alexey Timofeev (Moscow, RUS). Drummond went on to lose 6-3 against Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI). Drummond responded with a 6-2 win over De Jia Zou (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Drummond earned 15.661 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Aberdeen International Curling Championship. Drummond move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 13.597 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 22nd overall with 319.521 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
