Matthew Hall (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) won 6-2 over John Willsey (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Stu Sells Junior Mens Tankard, held September 14 - 17, 2017 at the High Park Club in Toronto, Canada.

Hall finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hall defeated Tyler Twining (Owen Sound, ON) 5-2, then won 6-3 against Willsey and 6-4 against Andrew Stopera (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Stu Sells Junior Mens Tankard Championship title, Hall earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque. For week 6 of the event schedule, Hall did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hall ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
