Gallacher went on to lose 4-3 against David Baird (Lockerbie, SCO). Gallacher responded with a 6-4 win over Gaetan Mancini (Lausanne, SUI). Gallacher won 5-3 against Christian Heinimann (Basel, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
