In their opening game, Friesen defeated Katy Lukowich (Winnipeg, MB) 10-6, then went on to lose 4-2 against Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB). Friesen responded with a 8-2 win over Cheyenne Ehnes (Manitou, MB). Friesen went on to lose 8-2 against Rebecca Lamb (Stonewall, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
