De Jia Zou (Harbin, CHN) finished 6-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zou defeated Sean Becker (Naseby, NZL) 8-3, then won 10-5 against Viktor Kim (Almaty, KAZ). Zou went on to lose 8-5 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Zou lost 8-6 to Hugh Millikin (Sydney, AUS) where Zou responded with a 12-2 win over Qatar's Nabeel Alyafei. Zou won 6-5 against Chang-Min Kim (Uiseong, KOR), then won 9-4 against Chinese Taipei's Randie Shen and 9-3 against Hong Kong's Jason Chang in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championship, Zou take home 11.756 world rankings points. For week 14 of the event schedule, Zou did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zou ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
