Matthew Hall (Kitcher-Waterloo, ON) won 7-2 over John Willsey (Kitchener-Waterllo, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Junior Mens Provincials, held December 27 - 30, 2017 at the Annandale Curling Club in Ajax, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Hall won 8-4 over Josh Leung (Whitby, ON) in the semifinals of the 2018 Ontario Junior Mens Provincials in Ajax, Ontario, Canada;
 
Hall finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hall defeated Nathan Marshall (Ayr, ON) 6-3, then won 6-1 against Ryan Fayaz (Listowel, ON) and 8-5 against Ryan Hahn (Ottawa, ON). Hall won 11-3 against Sam Steep (Seaforth, ON). Hall went on to lose 7-6 against Leung. Hall responded with a 6-1 win over Charlie Richard (London, ON). Hall went on to lose 6-4 against Willsey in their final qualifying round match.
