Magnus Ramsfjell (Jar, NOR) finished 4-5 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ramsfjell lost 8-6 to Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO), droppimg another game, 8-5 to Jan Hess (Zug, SUI). Ramsfjell lost 9-5 to Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER) where Ramsfjell responded with a 11-4 win over Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE). Ramsfjell won 7-5 against Aleksandr Bystrov (Moscow, RUS). Ramsfjell went on to lose 8-7 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, CAN). Ramsfjell responded with a 9-2 win over Zhi Yu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Ramsfjell won 9-5 against Hyeonjun Hwang (Chuncheon, KOR). Ramsfjell went on to lose 8-2 against Andrew Stopera (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

Ramsfjell earned 1.778 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Ramsfjell did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ramsfjell ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
