Sinclair finished 6-6 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sinclair defeated Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) 8-1, then went on to lose 8-5 against Victoria Moiseeva (St. Petersburg, RUS). Sinclair responded with a 8-6 win over Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO). Sinclair went on to lose 6-4 against Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE). Sinclair lost 7-6 to Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN) where Sinclair responded with a 7-5 win over Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI). Sinclair went on to lose 9-8 against Kim. Sinclair responded with a 8-4 win over Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN). Sinclair won 6-0 against Angelina Jensen (Hvidovre, DEN), then won 7-5 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Sinclair went on to lose 8-6 against Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE). Sinclair lost 8-5 to Jones in their final qualifying round match.
 
Sinclair earned 40.435 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the FORD World Womens Curling Championship.
