Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) lost 7-5 to Chelsea Carey (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Canad Inns Women's Classic, held October 18 - 21, 2018 at the Portage Curling Club in Portage La Prairie, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 5-3 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2018 Canad Inns Women's Classic in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada; and won 8-2 over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the quarterfinals.
 
Einarson finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Amber Holland (Regina, SK) 7-3, then won 9-1 against Allison Flaxey (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-6 against Un-Chi Gim (Gyeonggi -do, KOR). Einarson won 5-3 against Fujisawa in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Canad Inns Women's Classic, Einarson take home 55.804 world rankings points along with the $10,400CDN prize. Einarson move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 36.376 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 4th overall with 371.102 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
