In their opening game, Brydone defeated Rebecca Morrison (Stirling, SCO) 8-3, then won 9-6 against Andrew Reed (Kent, ENG) and 10-1 against Grant Barr (Perth, SCO). Brydone won 8-1 against Andrew Woolston (Kent, ENG), then won 9-3 against Garry Coombs (Hawarden, WAL) in their final qualifying round match.
