Tahli Gill (Brisbane, AUS) finished 2-4 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gill lost 20-0 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN), droppimg another game, 9-3 to Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon City, KOR) where Gill responded with a 11-6 win over Mubarkah Al-Abdulla (Doha, QAT). Gill went on to lose 12-1 against Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). Gill responded with a 9-8 win over Sitora Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ). Gill went on to lose 9-5 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG) in their final qualifying round match.

Gill earned 2.095 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 193rd place overall with 6.595 total points. Gill ranks 149th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.595 points earned so far this season.
