Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) won 6-5 over Steffen Walstad (Oppdal, NOR) in the Final of the Aberdeen International Curling Championship, held March 14 - 17, 2019 in Aberdeen, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, De Cruz won 5-2 over Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2019 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland; and won 4-3 over Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland;
 
De Cruz finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, De Cruz defeated Walstad 8-2, then won 6-0 against Hamish Gallacher (Dumfries, SCO) and 7-5 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Oslo, NOR). De Cruz won 8-1 against Marc Muskatewitz (Baden Baden, GER), then won 8-4 against Muirhead in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Aberdeen International Curling Championship Championship title, De Cruz earned 43.934 world rankings points along with the $5,964CDN first prize cheque.
