Potter finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Potter lost 8-3 to Roth, then responded with a 8-4 win over Cora Farrell (Chaska, MN). Potter won 6-3 against Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN), then won 7-6 against Christine McMakin (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
