Carpenter went on to lose 8-7 against Erik Colwell (Vernon, BC). Carpenter responded with a 7-5 win over Thomas Reed (Royal City, BC). Carpenter went on to lose 8-5 against Johnson Tao (Richmond, BC). Carpenter responded with a 9-8 win over Colorado Marr (Kamloops, BC). Carpenter won 9-8 against Dawson Ballard (Langley, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
