Terry Meek (Calgary, AB) finished 2-3 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Meek lost 8-7 to Rick Phillips (Red Deer, AB), droppimg another game, 10-5 to Jamie Cochrane (Calgary, AB) where Meek responded with a 10-5 win over Jeff Reich (Fort McMurray, AB). Meek won 10-3 against Harrison Boss (Calgary, AB). Meek went on to lose 7-3 against Carter Lautner (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Meek earned 1.453 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Meek did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Meek ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
