Sayer responded with a 10-4 win over Charlie Robert (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Sayer went on to lose 8-4 against Mike Badiuk (Geraldton, NONT). Sayer lost 7-3 to Nicholas Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
Sayer earned 1.603 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Sayer did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sayer ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
