In their opening game, Robert lost 5-4 to Jordan Chandler (Little Current, NONT), droppimg another game, 9-1 to Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT). Robert lost 7-6 to Jeff Brown (North Bay, NONT). Robert lost 8-3 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Robert lost 10-4 to Ryan Sayer (New Liskeard, NONT) where Robert responded with a 8-2 win over Nicholas Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Robert went on to lose 8-3 against Mike Badiuk (Geraldton, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Robert earned 0.534 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Robert did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Robert ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
