Nora Ostgard (Trondheim, NOR) qualified for the 2020 Norwegian National Women's Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Eli Skaslien (Oppdal, NOR). of the 2020 Norwegian National Women's Championship in Oslo, Norway;

Ostgard finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ostgard defeated Ellen Storvik (Oslo, NOR) 8-4, then went on to lose 8-1 against Maia Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR). Ostgard responded with a 9-0 win over Marianne Aspelin (Snaroen, NOR). Ostgard went on to lose 8-3 against Eirin Mesloe (Oppdal, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Ostgard earned 1.667 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 33 of the event schedule, Ostgard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ostgard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
