Colton Flasch (Saskatoon, SK) lost 6-5 to Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Vesta Energy Curling Classic, held November 19 - 22, 2021 in Red Deer, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Flasch won 5-4 over Kody Hartung (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2021 Vesta Energy Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta; and won 6-3 over Jeremy Harty (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Flasch finished 4-2 in the 26-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flasch lost 6-2 to Jacques, then responded with a 8-3 win over Daylan Vavrek (Calgary, AB). Flasch won 7-1 against Michael Dahms (Airdrie, AB), then won 7-4 against Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 8-2 against Hartung to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they responded with a 7-6 win over Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Vesta Energy Curling Classic, Flasch take home 29.192 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN prize, remaining in 15th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 18.619 after improving upon their best so far this season. Flasch ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 99.251 points earned so far this season.
