Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS) finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brothers lost 8-4 to Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON) where Brothers responded with a 8-5 win over St-Georges. Brothers won 7-4 against Ashley Howard (Saskatoon, SK), then won 10-6 against Mann and 10-4 against Kaitlyn Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Canadian Curling PRE-Trials Direct-Entry Event, Brothers take home 13.200 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 43rd place overall with 46.277 total points. Brothers ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.200 points earned so far this season.
