Ieva Rudzite/Artis Zentelis (Riga, LAT) lost 6-4 to Marie Kaldvee/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) in the Final of the WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 1, held November 26 - 28, 2021 in Riga, Latvia. To advance to the championship game, Rudzite/Zentelis won 7-1 over Daina Barone/Ritvars Gulbis (Riga, LAT) in the semifinals of the 2021 WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 1 in Riga, Latvia; and won 10-7 over Evita Regza/Aleksandrs Baranovskis (Riga, LAT) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 1 in Riga, Latvia;

Rudzite/Zentelis finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rudzite/Zentelis defeated Zanda Priste-Vonda/Janis Vonda (Riga, LAT) 14-4, then went on to lose 9-8 against Katrina Gaidule/Ansis Regza (Riga, LAT). Rudzite/Zentelis responded with a 7-4 win over Barone/Gulbis. Rudzite/Zentelis went on to lose 8-5 against Mintaute Jurkute/Paulius Rymeikis (Vilnius, LTU) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 1, Rudzite/Zentelis take home 10.410 world rankings points along with the $300CDN prize, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 35.498 total points. Rudzite/Zentelis ranks 105th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.410 points earned so far this season.
