Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 6-4 over Carly Howard (Mississauga, ON) in the Final Homan advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Ontario Scotties, held April 7 - 10, 2022 in Thornhill, Ontario.

Homan finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan lost 8-2 to Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON), then responded with a 7-2 win over Howard. Homan went on to lose 5-4 against Katelyn Wasylkiw (Whitby, ON). Homan responded with a 8-6 win over Danielle Inglis (Mississauga, ON). Homan won 5-3 against Susan Froud (Alliston, ON), then won 10-1 against Calissa Daly (Toronto, ON) and 5-2 against Sherry Middaugh (Woodstock , ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ontario Scotties Championship title, Homan earned 28.013 world rankings points. Homan move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 19.107 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 11th overall with 183.466 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Homan ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 183.466 points earned so far this season.
