Lowell Whittmire (Lethbridge, AB) lost 8-7 to Beau Cornelson (Camrose, AB) in the Final of the Curlers Corner AJCT Players' Championship, held April 1 - 3, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Whittmire won 6-5 over Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Curlers Corner AJCT Players' Championship in Calgary, Alberta;

Whittmire finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whittmire defeated Blake Petkau (Okotoks, AB) 8-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against Cornelson. Whittmire responded with a 6-1 win over James Ballance (Okotoks, AB). Whittmire won 5-4 against Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Whittmire ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
